The Foundation for Human Rights and Development was established and operates its activities based on five principles:
1. It is a private human rights organization that operates independently.
2. Not having the status of a representative or a voice for the interests of any particular group of people, but performing duties for human rights that are universal, indivisible and interdependent and mutually reinforcing.
3. Human rights include the rights to civil liberties, political, economic, social and cultural rights, democratic rights, environmental rights, consumer rights, the right to free and fair elections, the right to identity and self-governance, the human right to development, including the right to development, the right to choose, and the rights of disadvantaged groups, whether recognized by the United Nations or provided for in international law, treaties, declarations or custom.
4. Political neutrality, meaning it is not a tool for seeking power or supporting any particular political party, political group or interest.
5. Recognize the relationship between development and human rights.
The objectives of the foundation
1. Promote and protect human rights, democracy and peace.
2. Strengthen standards of human rights, democracy and peace and promote and implement such principles.
3. Support development that promotes and protects human rights, democracy and peace.
4. Promote and protect environmental quality and sustainable use of natural resources and the rights of the people in such matters.
5. Protect consumer rights and resist unfair trade competition.
6. Coordinate and cooperate with individuals and organizations in the field of human rights, both government agencies and private organizations, for the above purposes.
7. To provide education, training, dissemination, meetings, seminars, academic conferences, investigations, preparation of situation reports, election observation, trial observation, complaints, assistance or legal and litigation actions to achieve the above-mentioned objectives.
8. Perform activities for public benefit or cooperate with other charitable organizations.
9. Do not engage in any political activities.
