Human Rights and Development Foundation (HRDF) is a non-profit public interest organization promoting and protecting human rights, with a particular focus on labour rights and the rights of migrant workers and victims of trafficking and forced labour.

Location: Mae Sot, Tak Province, Thailand

Salary: THB 34,800–42,300/month

Contract Period: October 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management and coordination of the Mae Sot Field Office.
  • Assist the Program Manager in planning, coordinating, and implementing field programs and activities.
  • Coordinate with staff, migrant worker communities, local networks, CSOs, NGOs, government agencies, and other partners.
  • Support monitoring, documentation, data collection, reporting, and follow-up of program activities.
  • Organize regular office meetings and support effective internal communication and teamwork.
  • Maintain relationships with migrant worker groups and community networks and support outreach, capacity-building, and referrals.
  • Represent HRDF at relevant meetings and coordination platforms in Mae Sot and Tak Province.
  • Support office administration, asset management, operational arrangements, and financial/expense reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, development studies, law, human rights, public administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in NGO, migrant worker, labour rights, human rights, or community development work.
  • Experience in field/program coordination or office management is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, coordination, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
  • Good command of Thai and English; Burmese/Myanmar is highly desirable.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and online communication platforms.
  • Willingness to travel within Mae Sot, Tak Province, and other project areas.
